Kris Gjerstad is a professional workshop leader with many years of experience. He specialises in delivering high quality workshop sessions to groups of any age and ability in music technology. Using a broad range of cutting edge technology and traditional approaches Kris delivers unique and engaging sessions designed for complete beginners to advanced musicians looking for new approaches. Friendly, charismatic and welcoming, Kris makes sure every session is tailored to the participants, and accessible to people with disabilities or impairments.
Kris can be hired for a half day or whole day and can bring his workshops to any school or college setting. He can do a full day of activities with one group only, or can offer several shorter sessions over the course of a day for several different groups.

Manchester Camerata (REmix)
The Focus of the remix project is to introduce classical music to young people. Working with participants to remix classical pieces of music using music technology and traditional instruments (played live by members of the orchestra) we help the participants create a number of diverse remixes to showcase and perform. High Peak Arts
Running a series of music technology taster sessions which include using touch capacitive keyboards and Ableton, The participants build rhythm beds from recorded ‘found sounds’ and ‘body percussion’. We then create a piece of music of their choosing using synthesizers and samplers. The taster sessions feed into a final performance. 100pc Wolf – The Stage Show
